Graduated with a B.A. from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University (Virginia Tech) in 2000, where she was a four-year letter winner as a member of the program's varsity Women's Soccer team. She graduated cum laude from the University of Richmond, T.C. Williams School of Law in 2004 and was admitted to the Virginia State Bar that same year. Following her graduation from law school, Ms. Otto served a one-year term as a law clerk to the judges of the Henrico County Circuit Court. Ms. Otto is a member of the Richmond Bar, the Virginia State Bar, the Henrico County Bar Association, the Chesterfield County Bar Association, and the Metro Richmond Family Law Bar Association.
